Building on Avana LP Infrastructure

August 14, 2026

A new design surface

Most DeFi infrastructure is built around simple collateral. Single assets are easy to price, monitor, and liquidate. LP positions are active, two sided, and structurally more complex. Their value changes with underlyings, pool composition, fee accrual, and range. That complexity is why LP collateral has been hard to integrate into lending systems, and it is why Avana creates a new design surface for developers.

What builders get from Avana

Avana makes LP positions usable as collateral through Aave v4. Hub and spoke architecture means LP positions are evaluated, risk adjusted, and liquidated according to market specific logic, not a generic lending market that happens to accept LPs. For builders, that opens applications around interfaces, monitoring systems, treasury tools, strategy layers, and risk aware products built on LP backed credit.

Portfolio and monitoring infrastructure is a natural category. LP backed borrowing creates a more dynamic relationship between collateral and debt than most DeFi users are used to. Dashboards can surface health factor, collateral efficiency, fee generation, and liquidation sensitivity, helping users decide when to rebalance, reduce debt, or treat a position as more stressed than its headline value suggests.

Automation, liquidation, and treasury tooling

Automation and strategy infrastructure is another line of work. Because LP positions stay active while supporting borrowing, developers can build systems that respond to changing conditions on both sides of the position: maintaining target borrowing bands, monitoring collateral drift, or routing position data into treasury and portfolio systems that sit on top of Avana.

Liquidation and risk infrastructure also matter. LP collateral requires more than simple threshold watching. It requires understanding how position quality changes as markets move and how liquidation paths differ by venue and pool type. External bots, monitoring services, and analytics systems can all become important pieces of the ecosystem around Avana.

For treasury and institutional tooling, if DAOs, funds, or crypto native companies use LP positions as collateral, they will need systems for policy limits, permissions, borrowing conditions, and risk thresholds across wallets or teams. Developers can use Avana as a source of collateral state, debt state, and market level structure rather than treating LP exposure and lending exposure as disconnected worlds.
